2020- 2022 LEADERSHIP AWARDS
To be eligible for either District or State Awards, an report must be submitted to the Leadership Chair / C0-Chair and/or Junior Chair by February 1st each year.
Leadership begins with knowledge, which requires good communications. For better communications to connect Clubs with their District Leaders, starting in Fall 2018 and ending with Spring 2020, First Vice President Shelby Holland has extended a District Challenge to each of the District Presidents to promote increased attendance during their Fall and Spring District Meetings. A cash award of $100 will be presented to the GFWC Georgia District based on the largest percentage of increased attendance at the Fall and Spring District Meetings. First Vice President Shelby Holland will present the Fall and Spring awards during the 2019 and 2020 GFWC Georgia Conventions

DUNWOODY WOMAN’S CLUB LEADERSHIP AWARD:(General or Junior Clubs) A silver tray to be retained by the winning club will be presented to the General or Junior Club for the best overall work done in the Leadership Program. A special report is required. This ten (10) year award will be presented for the first time at the 2001 State Convention (*) and will be presented for the last time at the 2020* State Convention. This award is given in honor of the Dunwoody Woman’s Club by its 1989-1990 President, Kathleen Hanna, and will be retired to its donor in 2021. The winning club may have its name and year won engraved on the back of the award. The award will be judged by the Leadership Chairman and a committee. The report is to be mailed to the Leadership Chairman.

Reporting FormDEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: Reports may be filed by USPS or by electronic submission. Deadline for electronic submission is 11:59 pm February 1, regardless of the day of the week. Submissions by USPS must be postmarked on or before February 1, regardless of the day of the week.
